Piccari Press was founded in Colmar, Pennsylvania in 1988. Since that time, Piccari has grown to become one of the largest printers in the Delaware Valley. Beginning with just two presses and less than ten employees, the original founders brought together a mixture of printing expertise, financial savvy and desire to produce printing of extraordinary quality. Customers soon found that this small printing company offered service and quality beyond all of their expectations. The result was rapid growth.
In 1997 Piccari left its original home and moved to new and larger quarters in Warminster, PA, in a building designed specifically for printing. Piccari purchased its third Heidelberg Speedmaster. Growth continued, and a new Heidelberg CD press was added in 1999.
In 1999 Piccari Press joined Consolidated Graphics, the largest sheetfed and web commercial printing company in the United States. As Piccari continued to grow, another Heidelberg CD press was installed and thermal direct to plate technology was adapted.
In 2001 Piccari was awarded the Neo Power of Print Award, the highest recognition for printing excellence in the Delaware Valley. In 2004 Piccari opened a sales office in New York City and continued to invest in new equipment and technology. As a CGX company, we offer a wide range of printing services along with the same quality and service that are our hallmark.
